My Obsession Got Worse....

Yeah, thats right..
but the obsession is Flight of the Conchords.
I love them wayyyyyyyy too much at the moment, i mean i did before but now, their songs wont leave my head, & i watch their vids all day long.
DAMN YOU FOTC.
songs just too catchy.

It mainly happened because i gave in & watched songs from the new series..
they are AMAZING.

& also, they parodied one of my fav songs ever, & they look FIT doing it!!

Seriously i do. i never come on here, i do realise that no one reads anyway, but still! its shit!

& i also realised that in my last post i said i would say about NME awards, then i didnt!
to sum up:
went to NME awards in lovely red spotty dress!
sat up in the balcony thing, & watched the show! & also may have drank a little.
then went down into the tables, which was really quite easy, nicked about 3 bottles of wine in the end!
The cure were AMAZING!!
o & also got to talk to the lovely delia plumeee! although i was quite drunk & probably embarrassed myself even though ive met her too many times to keep count.
& talked to Dave brown, who i love so much. & my cam broke but we were all drunk so couldnt work out how to work it, & he nicked it off me at one point!

but yeah thats about it...
since then, erm...well i went to Boosh Dj set, & before i sent dave a playlist, which he nearly played! well one of the songs :P
& he came looking for us, damn us for going outside! & noel made me worried for his life as he was off his head.

& then went to noelys stand up, & kat shouted stuff at him!

since then ive done fuck all, apart from occasional drunken comments to dave, which means that if i meet him again, im gonna have to apologise...i hope he still likes me :P

i WILL write more interesting things i promise :)

An Evening With Sue & Her Unicorn

I have wrote anything on here for ages!
So i shall tell you the tale (well story) of yesterday!

Got The train from home to Sheffield, where i met Katie & Amy. We got some food then went down to bus station & got on bus.
Bus ride was ok, half way through had to sit next to this old woman, cramped!!
we talked way too much on the bus, must have annoyed everyone haha!
Then got to birmingham, & went down to moor street (?) station to meet lizzi, then realised it was the wrong station but thankfully they're near eachother.
Met lizzi & grabbed a burger king, then went down to etap.
Turns out Etap are CUNTS! They wouldnt let us stay because lizzi, who was the 'adult' of the room couldnt be the adult, because she wasnt the parent of us. Wtf?!

So yeah, stranded in birmingham, we went around trying to find a hotel, in the end this woman (who is SO nice) told us about a cheap hotel near the football ground, so we went there & yes it was real! was £28 for a room, so we got 2. Good times!

After getting ready, we went down to bar acadamy as Katie had to do a sound check! When we got in, we were happy to know that we actually could go in (we were worried we wouldnt be allowed). We got our wristbands, & stood watching Sue & Oliver (i think thats his name) rehearsing. Sue said that katie could play pick me up with her, so they practiced it, & she said me, amy & lizzi could also stand behind & dance/shake shakers, we just stood there, so later me & katie double checked. Sue said it was fine, & that she liked the shakers haha!
Sue finished, then katie did her sound check. after that, the other support came in & did their stuff too.

We went downstairs to the 'backstage' bit, which was basically a closed bar just next to the entrance, with a pool table & some seats.
Katie asked if sue & oliver wanted to play against them at pool, & they said yeah. So me & lizzi watched while they did. was quite fun, & sureal too haha! Sue noticed my robots necklace & said i was the second person shes ever seen with one :)
We all chatted for a while, & Sues team won the pool!
We hung around for a while afterwards, they'd started playing music upstairs so we danced a little, katie took a polaroid of us all (looking either mad like me, or bored haha!) & amy & katie played more pool.

People started coming in so we were just moving from upstairs to downstairs just sitting down really. the venue slowly filled up, & we went upstairs for the gig.
First band, Before I Explode were REALLY good! more then i thought they would be! :)
Next katie was on, She was ace, as you'd expect ;) she told us to shake the shakers, but i think we failed. ace to see someone you know onstage :D
when she played umbrella, was well good :D

Then it was Sue. She & Oliver played a really good set! All my fav songs, we sang along, which Sue liked! the only thing i didnt like was how close we were, was slighty weird singing her song when shes stood so close staring at you, but hey!

Afterwards, we went back down & just sat around for a while. Sue & oliver were still there, sue chatting a couple of times, her getting a weird teddy off this man & looking confused haha!
Katie got a polaroid pic with her & had 'elepham & suenicorn' written on it :D
& then we went back up to say bye to her, as she'd dissapeared up there, & me & amy had a pic with her.
afterwards i joked that i looked horrible, like all pics & she gave me a big hug :)
Sue said we should go to liverpool, as she wants katie to play, so i hope i can go next week!

Afterwards we got a maccy Ds, & went back to hotel.
today ive just been back on the bus, & now im at home just thinking about all this so i thought id write it down!

Lovely day, fun to see everyone again, & Sue of course.

'I Spent Three Hours Climbing On Top Of The Worlds Biggest Nurofen' BOOSH BOOK SIGNING!

Hello! My first post! hopefully i wont rant too much, but i know i will so ill warn you now!

The Lovely Story Of The Boosh Book Signing!

Id gone to bed at 7am the night before, so ended up staying in bed more then i should have. I finally got out of bed at about 12.30pm & got ready, all calm & relaxed then realised that i couldnt find my camera! the one thing i wanted this weekend! i ended up missing my train trying to find it, my brother helped & everything! but nothing :(

So I got my train, was bored for most of my journey, although i did enjoy listening to 'drowned' by Tim Minchin whilst Looking out at a beautiful sunset, reflecting off the river making everything look like a mix of blue & orange.

Missed a Leeds train as soon as i got off my other one, pissed me off! so i spent half an hour waiting, but finally got my train & got to Leeds! (after worrying that id got the wrong train!)

Waited for the lovely Alice, Sarah & Caris for about 10 mins, then they turned up so we all hugged & went to get a taxi!

The taxi ride was fun xD mostly sarah going on about 'Saltman' who was a person she covered in salt whilst pissed. :D

When we got to Alices Dads, We all rested, then went to Sainsburys! Was VERY fun xD Got so much crap! including:

A bottle of martini, 2 bottles of wine, & a cheap version of baileys!

Got back, & basically ate loads, i somehow thought it was funny to eat a scotchegg whilst eating a milky bar yogurt...

Took some pics on my disposable cam (old school!) which i will have once i get them developed!

After A while, we met Liz at the station, which was weird cos i having such a sugar rush, me & Alice walked really fast, Leaving sarah & Caris behind!

We all got back & decided to watch Rocky Horror Picture Show! :D

Was Fun xD singing all the songs! & dancing to the time warp! Caris & Sarah felt tired so they decided to go to bed for a while.

But Me, Liz & Alice stayed up & watched The Lost Boys, while having a drinking game! the rules were:

Everytime Someone Says Micheal
If theres a crappy Pov from a vampire in order to save money on special effects
Everytime Sam wears a really bad outfit
Some hint of incest xD

Was fun :D we drank both bottles of wine in the end, mixed with lemonade. was lovely xD

Alice went to wake up Caris & Sarah but ended up going to sleep, so me & Liz watched crap on youtube!

I went up to see where Alice had gone, & they were getting ready so i went to get liz & we all did!

Once we had got ready, we went downstairs & decided to call a taxi as it was 5am at this point.

we got into town at about 5.30am, & went down to HMV. At this point my shoes were already hurting.

Not many people were there, (a boy came & counted the queue at about 7.30 & said we were number 50, after lots of people had joined so you can guess) so we just stood there for a while, & ended up listening to lots of music on our phones! Dancing to Daggers in the streets of leeds at 6am was a fun experience ;)

it soon got a bit busy, the line went to the end of the road as we found out later on walking past with our bands!

Alice, Caris & Sarah went to get some tea while me & Lizzi kept dancing, & later on we were all eating crossiants.

katie & amy came down at about 7am i think, & katies ucalaly (i cant spell, & i cant actually remember if thats what its called.)

We sang 'pick me up', & a mix of Flight of the Conchords songs :D

Was a lot of fun!

The people next to us joined in too! became a little party! & the time went really fast! Was weird with it getting lighter, kept getting colder & warmer too. The tea helped with warming up my hands ;)

Cold But Fun Times!

When it got light, more & more people turned up. Later on we went down the line & weirdly it got more neon nearer the back. (YAY NO OMGFIELDINGS) & it went all the way round the corner, was mad! Was fun in the queue, Time went quite fast, & just messing around is good! It was soon 8am, & the line started moving. After about 15 minutes we got in, went up the stairs & got the book, with the wristband! RESULT. about then it hit me that i would actually have to meet the boys! Was so weird but ace. I think that thought was going through everyones head really. We got out & went into town to get some food. I only had a Mocca, Was lovely! While we were at the table, i finally got to read the book. Truly amazing. I absolutely love it!! Couldnt stop reading it in the coffee place!

Noel Obviously Stole his hairstyle from Caris.

Was fun reading the book knowing that we were gonna be seeing them later on! I think it was at about this point that we decided to get them all presents. So we ended up spending all day looking around for the pressies, my feet hurting really bad by then (knew it would happen so shouldnt moan, their just SO PRETTY!)

We ended up first getting julian a Mingus record In a music shop near the place where we had coffee! Then Went to the cool shop (cant remember what its called) & got noel his 'everybody knows your a lezza' card :D

Next we went around looking for Clothes for Noel & Mike, & while we were looking we saw a hat in H&M that we later went back to get for mike! i woolen trilby hat, really nice! :)

Next we went round looking for a teddy monkey for dave, but we couldn't find anywhere! so we ended up getting him 'monkey portraits' which is a really good book of pictures of monkeys (obviously) so is perfect for him!

at that time me & Caris were knakkered so we sat down near the kids section then in the costa in Waterstones, & i came up with the idea of giving rich a zoo book! As Bobby Bob doesnt know the names of animals! So we did :D

Was a really cute book, i loved it! Im hoping he did too!

After we got that we decided to go get mikes hat, & get noels necklace, as it was around 12 now, & we had to be in the queue for 1pm.

So we sat in subway on those tall stools writing all the postits for the boys. Ill try remember what i wrote on them :) :
For Julian 'You are truly Amazing! We all love your gorgeously northern good looks!'
Noel 'you are funny & bubbley! & have really good hair ;)'
Dave 'You are truly wonderful!'
mike 'You are cute & funny! I love your one liners!'

I hope they liked! :)
I would have said more, but i was in subway, on a really uncomfortable chair!

We went back into the queue, just a little bit back from where we were before! & just waited really. I started to get really cranky after about 15 mins as my shoes were hurting, & the books FUCKING HEAVY! & i had rich's & julians pressies too. Thanks to amy for taking one of my bags!

In Line For Boosh!

The line started moving around 1pm, but we didnt get in till about 20 past.. After that it was pretty quick! When i got in i was confused as there was a massive amount of people on one side of the shop, but we were on the other side. I knew that the boosh boys were out (all the screaming & waving *rolls eyes*) but later realised that they were the people who hadn't got bands. THEY FAIL ;)
I suddenly started panicing, i remember talking about the books on the wall for some reason, probably trying to calm myself.
Somehow i just couldnt look at them when we got closer, i just knew that if i looked at julian my knees would go weak & id squee to kingdom come! But naughty me, i looked at him. GORGEOUS he was, PURE BEAUTY. THE PERFECT MAN. *sigh* smiling cheekily at some other fan. i died. i just couldnt breathe. So i decided that i couldn't give julian his present anymore, & Caris took it in the end! Im not sure if i regret that, but i love caris & im happy she got to talk to him really. i would have just be like 'ER er Er present, MingUS U LIKEY?'
We shuffled forward, Me still in a state of shock. Repeating everything again & again. (thats what i do when im worried but excited, just start talking bullshit)

Waiting For The Moment..

Closer still, i started to calm down. The nice security guard who had come out before hand to tell us whats what started talking to me & caris while we waited, saying that we looked like we'd 'just run a mile' cos we were bright red ¬¬. But he was nice, & Im happy that he made me feel better really. Probably just his job, to stop OMGS fainting from noel blinking in their general direction.

So it was it, the actual moment, my heart started thumbing because JULIAN WAS FUCKING FIRST. ARE THEY TRYING TO KILL ME WITH INSIDELOVENERVES. I walked up, & this is the (nearly) exact conversation i had:
*julian signing my book*
Me: 'ive got a letter for you two from my australian friend'*gives him it*
Ju: 'sorry what?'
*looks up at me* *me die*
Me: 'er er australia..friend'
*julian smiles & taps letter on table*
Me: 'O thank you!'
*moves over to noel*
*stands there speechless from barratt*
*noel looks up after signing the book*
Noel: 'i really like your hair by the way'
*me all happy*
Me:'oo thanks :D
*starts to walk off* (so I half heard this..)
Noel: 'I should have blue in my hair, looks good'
*me turn back*
Me: 'you should! xD'
*walks off happy*

Now several points here.

1. As you can tell Dave, Rich & Mike wern't there *sad face*
2. I didnt really say much.
3. Im sure noel didnt actually look at me before saying that about my hair, unless he looked at me before (i kinda didnt notice anything at this point)
4. Julian EYELINER, noel ACE T-SHIRT.

Even though it was a bit shit, I still enjoyed it. & just the fact that they have trolls letter is good enough for me! Shes lovely, she deserves it!
& the fact that julian looked at me is bloody good enough too! oooo my *has flash back**dies*

Afterwards i was just going 'o i wish id done this' Im sorry if i was annoying! I always do that! But Everything about this day was absolute WIN!

When we got back to alices after seeing Amy, Katie & Lizzi off, We Watched lots of boosh & ate more crap xD
I fell asleep at some point, but didnt really know how. thats how tired i was.
We ended up asleep by about 12.30am..but not after Sarah sending us all crotch shots! *drool*
Today I Woke up, got ready & came home really. Was absolutely amazing though, & i really did love every minute of it.

Espesially seeing Alice, Caris, Lizzi, Sarah, Amy & Katie! Their all amazing, & i love them to bits!

So right now, im sat here typing away, Ranting obviously, & its something that i may have no mentioned..
ITS MY 16th BIRTHDAY :D:D:D

& its also boosh again tonight! Going with Alice, Twonks & Cb. Will be ace! 4th time seeing the live show now, & i love it too much!
& also an aftershow on tues, which i will hopefully get into as robots are playying :D:D

If you've read all this i applaud you. I do tend to rant a little too much, Probably half bullshit, but you loves it.
I shall hopefully not stay up too late, unless a lovely aussie comes on that is!
